Walk by faith, not by sight...

Such an awesome lesson! We have had to do this as a family both our our trip and here at home.

We arrived back from NC about 6:00 this morning. It was a good trip. My brother did an amazing job at our Grandmother's service and Pop is doing as well as can be expected. Anna Ritchie and Timothy are growing by leaps and bounds. Here are a few pics from the past few days...

My Brother, Strong as a mountain...

After my grandmother passed away on Sat evening, my brother had to turn around a preach several services on Sunday morning. I just finished listening to his service online. If you would like, please go to the link and listen. He has been given such a gift. And with everything that he was given over the past week, he still is able to put it aside to help teach others about Jesus Christ. He is an amazing person and I am so very proud to call him my brother.

Update on Grandma Ritchie... The funeral will be held on Thursday in Raleigh, NC. We have a long drive ahead of us, so I better get a move on. I will post more when we return.

Grandma Ritchie

My dear grandma Ritchie passed away a few hours ago. For those of you who are waiting to view proofs from this past week/weekend, it might take me a few extra days to finish them up. Keep our family in your prayers. Will update more when I am given more info.

Parade Magazine!

I will be having my very first picture published this coming weekend in Parade Magazine! So excited! It is a photo that I got of the boys last spring while playing fetch at the pond. For those of you who aren't familiar with Parade, it is a national magazine that goes out in the larger Sunday papers in the nation. You should have see this house when I got the letter yesterday! We all jumped for joy! Mom and I celebrated with sharing an entire bottle of South African Champagne, the guys had their own concoction, then we all camped out in the backyard in below freezing temperatures! Sounds a little goofy, I know, but we did have a good time. (Even though the boys kept taking all of the blankets!)
